Fourth Year Haskap

I took a trip back the farm earlier this summer and snapped a couple of pictures of my haskap. They are now four years old.

I may try to transplant some of them to my new place in town this fall. We’ll see how that goes.

Thank you for posting your first-hand experience with haskap. I acquired my first plants this fall and am excited to see how they do first thing in the spring! Hardly anyone has heard about haskap/honeyberry down here south of the border (Minnesota) and my local newspaper editor wanted an article with a picture of someone next to a EBH bush. I compiled an article for him, but don’t have a picture yet to go with it. Would you consider giving permission to use the foto above? I think it’s just what he’s looking for. Thank you for your consideration.

While I’m not sure exactly which cultivar I have in this photo, it would be one of the three Russian cultivars released from the University of Saskatchewan in 2002 – Blue Bell, Berry Blue, or Cinderella.

Very interesting, I have first year Borealis and Tundra, 4 each. I was wondering how long it would take for them to grow. Your plants are huge in only 4 years. It gives me hope that I will soon have many berries. Thank you.
